كان يا ما كان، كان في صبيّة اسمها دلال، بنت قوية و، لسانها متل السيف وتفكيرها الشرير ما بيخلص! كل ما تهدا الحارة، بتطلع هي بمشكلة جديدة، وما بتهنى حتى تقوم الدنيا وما تقعد. بيوم من الأيام، عِلْقَت مع جارتها على شغلة سخيفة. بلش الحكي العادي، بس، دلال قلبت القصة لمشكلة كبيرة! صرخت، و لَمّت العالم، وصارت تطلع حكايات وقصص على الجيران، وتفتل بالحارة وتعمل فتنة بين العالم. كل ما حدا يتدخل ليحل الخلاف أو يهدّي الوضع، تشعِّل مشكلة جديدة معاه وتهاجمه بلسانها وشرّها، لدرجة إن الحارة كلها صارت تهرب منها ويقولوا: "أعوذ بالله منها! هي مو صبية، هي حية بسبع روس! كل ما تقطع براس، بيطلعلك منا سبع مشاكل وفتن جديدة!"
"A Seven-Headed Snake" – Syrian Dialect Once upon a time, there lived in the neighborhood a girl named Dalal—a harsh and fierce girl with a sharp tongue and a malicious mind. Every time the neighborhood settled down, she would stir up a new problem, never resting until the whole place was turned upside down. One day, she got into an argument with her neighbor over a trivial matter. It started as a regular disagreement, but in the blink of an eye, Dalal turned it into a major ordeal! She screamed, gathered the neighbors, started fabricating rumors about people, and roamed the alley spreading drama and strife among everyone. Whenever someone stepped in to resolve the dispute or calm things down, she would open a new front against them, attacking them with her vicious words and toxic behavior. It reached a point where the entire neighborhood began avoiding her, shaking their heads and saying: "May God protect us from her! She’s no ordinary girl; she’s a seven-headed snake! Every time you cut off one head, she comes at you with seven new problems and schemes!"
