Who Boiled His Blood? – Moroccan Dialect In a crowded traditional market, lived "Al-Meloudi," a seller of traditional perfumes and herbs, known for his calm demeanor and easy-going nature. Meloudi had never been upset or argued with anyone; he was always smiling and greeted people with a kind word: "Welcome, provision is up to God." On a Saturday, a hurried and reckless young man named "Badr" entered. He started rummaging through the goods randomly, messing things up and breaking them, and without buying a thing, he began criticizing the merchandise mockingly: "What is this old junk? Who still buys this stuff today?" Meloudi remained silent, swallowing his anger, and said to himself: "Better to spend the night with a glowing light than to spend it sad, patience is a virtue." But Badr didn't stop; he pushed further and started mocking Meloudi in front of the customers, saying in a loud voice: "If you were any good, you would have opened a big shop instead of sitting in this little corner!" This is the exact moment his blood boiled to the point that he felt he was about to burst! The blood rushed to Meloudi's head, and his eyes turned red. He stood up, clenched his hands, and said to him in a composed yet firm voice: – "My boy, provision isn't about showing off or raising your voice, and 'what doesn't know you, admires you, and whoever lives with you, runs away from you!' " Badr felt deeply embarrassed and realized his mistake when he saw all the customers looking at him with disappointment and blame. Feeling overwhelmed and dizzy, he apologized and quietly slipped away from the market. Meloudi sat down, took a deep breath, and returned to his calm state, realizing that while there are people who know how to boil blood, forbearance and composure remain the only remedy.
