كان سامر قاعد مع صاحبه حسام في القهوة، وحسام من أول ما وصل وهو بحكي عن مشكلته مع مديره بالشغل. قال سامر: — شو عمل معك هالمرة؟ حسام رد عليه و قال: — طلب مني أخلّص شغلة كبيرة بآخر الدوام، ولما خلصتها، رجع حكى إلي: ليش استعجلت؟! ضحك سامر: — يعني شو ما تعمل، مش عاجبه! حسام هز راسه: — بالضبط. واليوم كمان، كنت واقف بستنّى دوري عنده، إجى واحد بعدي ودخّله قبلي! قال سامر: — طيب شو عملت؟ حسام ابتسم: — ولا إشي… بس قعدت أتطلع فيه وأقول بيني وبين حالي: الله يصبّرني قدّيش هالزلمة مستفز و بيحرق دمي و همة قاعدين، رن تلفون حسام. كان المدير. رد حسام: — أيوا تفضّل سمع شوي منه،،، وبعدين وجهه قَلَب سكر التلفون وقال: — شايف؟ بحكيلي ليش ما خلصت الشغلة اللي طلبتها منك مبارح! سامر استغرب: — بس إنت خلصتها! حسام ضرب إيده على الطاولة: — خلصتها! وبعتله إياها كمان! بس هاد الزلمة بيفهمش. ضحك سامر وقال: — خلص، لا تحرق دمك. واضح إن المدير بيحب يشوفك معصّب… عادي في ناس مستفزّين حسام تنهد وقال: — والله مشكلتي مش بالشغل… مشكلتي إنه كل مرة بيعمل شغلة بتحرق دمي! حَرَق دَمّه يعني: ضايقه، عصّبه، ونرفزه وخلاه ينزعج كثير

Hossam nodded: — Exactly. And today, I was standing waiting for my turn with him, and someone who came after me went in before me! Samer asked: — So what did you do? Hossam smiled: — Nothing… I just sat there looking at him and thought to myself, “God give me patience! This man is so annoying. He really knows how to get on my nerves.” While they were sitting there, Hossam’s phone rang. It was his manager. Hossam answered: — Yes, go ahead. He listened for a moment, and his expression suddenly changed. He hung up and said: — See? He’s asking me why I didn’t finish the task he asked me to do yesterday! Samer was surprised: — But you did finish it! Hossam hit the table with his hand: — I did! And I even sent it to him! But this guy just doesn’t get it. Samer laughed and said: — Come on, don’t let him get to you. Obviously, your manager likes seeing you annoyed… Some people are just irritating.
