Self-confidence
Yousef always sought advice from others before making any decision.
At work, in relationships, in every little thing,
he would ask everyone:
“What should I do?”
“Is this right?”
Days passed,
and opportunities slipped away one after another.
Even the small projects he could have handled on his own,
he hesitated, afraid of making mistakes.
One day, he sat in front of the mirror in his room,
looked at his face, and quietly asked himself:
“What if I am the only person who can make this decision?”
He hesitated for a moment,
then decided to try something small:
a project he had always wanted to start.
He decided to do it alone,
without consulting anyone.
He began, learning along the way,
making mistakes, fixing them,
and discovered he was capable of more than he ever imagined.
After a few months, the project succeeded,
and beyond the material success,
he gained self-confidence, freedom in decision-making,
and a deep sense of being able to face life.
Yousef smiled at his reflection and said:
“I didn’t need all these people to show me the way…
I just needed to believe in myself.”
The lesson:
Self-confidence, initiative, and self-reliance
are the keys to true freedom.
