قصة الأسد والغراب والسلحفاة

كان في غابةٍ واسعةٍ يحكمها أسدٌ قوي، عُرف بالعدل والحزم، وكانت الحيوانات تهابه وتحترمه.
وكان قرب عرشه غرابٌ ذكي، سريع الكلام، كثير الدخول على الأسد، يحدّثه بما يسمع ويرى.

وفي أطراف الغابة عاشت سلحفاةٌ هادئة، لا ترفع صوتها، لكنها معروفة بالحكمة وبعد النظر.

ذات يوم، بدأ الغراب يهمس في أذن الأسد:

“يا مولاي، بعض الحيوانات لا تحب حكمك، وتتظاهر بالطاعة فقط.”

تكرّر الهمس، وكثر الكلام، فبدأ الشكّ يدخل قلب الأسد، وتغيّر تعامله مع الجميع، واشتدّ بطشه.

لاحظت السلحفاة ما يحدث، فتقدّمت ببطء حتى وقفت أمام الأسد وقالت:

“يا مولاي، ليس كل صوتٍ صادق، وليس كل صمتٍ خيانة.”

غضب الأسد وقال:

“أتشكّكين في من ينقل لي الأخبار؟”

فقالت السلحفاة بهدوء:

“من ينقل لك الأخبار قد ينقل عنك أيضًا،
والكلمة إن خرجت بلا دليل… أفسدت القلب قبل أن تُنقذ العرش.”

سكت الأسد قليلًا، ثم أمر بمراقبة ما يقوله الغراب.
فاكتشف أن الغراب كان يبالغ، ويضيف من عنده، ليبقى قريبًا من السلطة.

أبعد الأسد الغراب، وأعاد العدل، وعادت الغابة آمنة.

العبرة يا عزيزي

• ليس كل قريبٍ ناصح.
• ولا كل صامتٍ خائن.
• الحكيم لا يحكم بالأذن وحدها، بل بالعقل والقلب معًا.
• ومن أراد أن يفرّق، بدأ بالكلمة.

The Lion, the Crow, and the Tortoise

In a vast forest ruled by a powerful lion, known for justice and firmness, all animals both feared and respected him.
Near his throne lived a clever crow, quick with words and always close to the lion, telling him what he heard and saw.

On the edge of the forest lived a quiet tortoise, slow in movement but famous for wisdom and deep insight.

One day, the crow began whispering in the lion’s ear:

“My lord, some animals do not truly love your rule. They only pretend to obey.”

The whispers continued, the words increased, and doubt slowly entered the lion’s heart.
His behavior changed, his anger grew, and his rule became harsh.

The tortoise noticed what was happening. Slowly, he approached the lion and said calmly:

“My lord, not every loud voice speaks the truth, and not every silence hides betrayal.”

The lion became angry and said:

“Do you question the one who brings me news?”

The tortoise replied gently:

“Whoever carries news to you can also carry news about you.
A word spoken without proof corrupts the heart before it protects the throne.”

The lion paused and ordered that the crow’s words be observed carefully.
Soon, it became clear that the crow exaggerated and added lies, seeking to remain close to power.

The lion dismissed the crow, restored justice, and peace returned to the forest.



The Moral
• Not every close companion is sincere.
• Not every silent one is disloyal.
• A wise ruler does not judge with the ear alone, but with reason and heart together.
• Those who wish to divide others always begin with words.
