‎قصة الذئب والحَمَل

كان حَمَلٌ صغير يشرب من نهرٍ صافٍ، في أسفله، بهدوء واطمئنان.
وفي أعلى النهر، وقف ذئبٌ جائع يراقبه.

اقترب الذئب وقال بصوتٍ غاضب:
— لماذا تُعكّر الماء عليّ؟

رفع الحمل رأسه وقال بهدوء:
— كيف أعكّر الماء عليك، وأنا أسفل النهر وأنت أعلاه؟

سكت الذئب لحظة، ثم قال:
— إذًا… أنت شتمتني العام الماضي!

قال الحمل بخوف:
— لم أكن قد وُلدت بعد.

زمجر الذئب وقال:
— إذًا أبوك هو من شتمني!

قال الحمل:
— لا أعرفه.

عندها قال الذئب كلمته الأخيرة:
— لا يهم… إن لم تكن أنت، فواحدٌ منكم.

وانقضّ عليه، فافترسه.

الحكمة والموعظة
• الظالم لا يبحث عن الحق… بل عن ذريعة
• إذا أراد القوي أن يبطش، اخترع سببًا
• البراءة لا تحميك من صاحب القوة الغاشمة
• العدل لا يُرجى من فم الذئب
• حين تُحاكَم النية لا الفعل، فالنتيجة محسومة

The Wolf and the Lamb

A young lamb was drinking peacefully from a clear stream, standing downstream.
Upstream, a hungry wolf noticed him and approached with anger.

The wolf said:
— Why are you muddying my water?

The lamb replied calmly:
— How could I muddy your water when I am downstream and you are above me?

The wolf paused, then said:
— Then you insulted me last year.

The lamb answered:
— I was not even born last year.

The wolf growled:
— Then it must have been your father.

The lamb said softly:
— I do not know him.

At last, the wolf said:
— It does not matter. If it was not you, it was one of your kind.

And with that, he attacked and devoured the lamb.

• A tyrant does not seek truth — he seeks an excuse
• When power decides to oppress, logic becomes useless
• Innocence does not protect the weak from the unjust
• Justice is never found in the mouth of a wolf
• When guilt is decided before the trial, the outcome is already written
