نومٌ عبر القرون: قصة أصحاب الكهف

في زمنٍ بعيد، كانت هناك مدينةٌ يحكمها ملكٌ ظالم، يُجبر الناس على عبادة الأصنام وينشر الخوف بين أهلها.
وفي تلك المدينة عاش فتيةٌ مؤمنون، صغارٌ في أعمارهم لكن عظامٌ في إيمانهم. آمنوا بالله الواحد، ورفضوا الانحناء لغير الحق.

اجتمع الفتية سرًّا وقالوا:
ربُّنا ربُّ السماواتِ والأرض، ولن ندعو من دونه إلهًا.

حين اشتد الظلم وخافوا على دينهم، قرروا الرحيل طلبًا لرضا الله. خرجوا ليلًا، وقلوبهم مليئة باليقين، حتى وصلوا إلى كهفٍ في الجبل. هناك لجؤوا إلى الله وقالوا:
ربَّنا آتنا من لدنك رحمة، وهيّئ لنا من أمرنا رشدًا.

فأنزل الله عليهم سكينةً عظيمة، وألقى عليهم نومًا عجيبًا. ناموا سنين طويلة، والشمس تمر من حول كهفهم بلطف، وأجسادهم محفوظة بعناية الله، وكلبهم رابضٌ عند باب الكهف حارسًا لهم.

مرّت الأعوام وتغيّر الزمان، وسقط الظالمون، وانتشر الإيمان.
ثم استيقظ الفتية، وظنّوا أنهم ناموا يومًا أو بعض يوم. أرسلوا أحدهم ليشتري طعامًا، فاكتشف أن المدينة قد تغيّرت، وأن الناس أصبحوا مؤمنين.

فكانت قصتهم آيةً عظيمة، ودليلًا على أن الله ينصر من يتمسّك بالإيمان، وأن من يثق بالله لا يضيعه الله أبدًا.

The Story of the People of the Cave

Long ago, there was a city ruled by a cruel king who forced people to worship idols and spread fear among them.
In that city lived a group of young men—young in age, but great in faith. They believed in one God and refused to bow to falsehood.

They gathered secretly and said:
Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and we will never worship any god besides Him.

When oppression grew and they feared for their faith, they chose to leave everything behind for God’s sake. They walked by night with hearts full of certainty until they reached a cave in the mountains. There, they prayed:
Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and guide us to what is right.

God then covered them with peace and placed them into a miraculous sleep. They slept for many years, while the sun gently passed by their cave. Their bodies were protected by God’s care, and their dog lay at the entrance, guarding them.

Time passed, rulers fell, and belief spread among the people.
When the young men finally awoke, they thought they had slept for only a day or part of a day. One of them went to the city to buy food and discovered that everything had changed—the people were now believers.

Their story became a powerful sign, proving that God supports those who hold firmly to faith, and that whoever trusts in God is never abandoned.
