قصة ‎الفأر منقذ الاسد

كان أسدٌ قوي نائمًا في الغابة، فمرّ فأرٌ صغير وركض فوق جسده دون قصد.
استيقظ الأسد غاضبًا، وأمسك الفأر بين مخالبه، وهمّ أن يلتهمه.

ارتجف الفأر وقال برجاء:

«اعفُ عني أيها الملك… لعلّي أُفيدك يومًا.»

ضحك الأسد ساخرًا:

«أنت؟ تفيدني أنا؟»

لكن قلبه لان، فأطلق سراح الفأر.

بعد أيام، وقع الأسد في شبكة صيّادين، وزأر بقوة ولم يستطع الإفلات.
سمع الفأر الزئير، فعرف الصوت، وركض بسرعة، وبدأ يقرض الشبكة بأسنانه الصغيرة حتى تحرّر الأسد.

نظر الأسد بدهشة وقال:

«لم أكن أظن أن صغيرًا مثلك قد ينقذني.»

أجاب الفأر:

«لا تَحقرنّ أحدًا… فالقيمة ليست بالحجم.»

الحكمة يا صديقي
لا تستهِن بصغير،
ولا تَحتقر ضعيفًا،
فقد يأتي العون من حيث لا تتوقّع

The Lion and the Mouse

One day, a Lion was sleeping peacefully in the forest.
A little Mouse ran across his body by accident.

The Lion woke up angrily and caught the Mouse with his huge paw.
He was about to eat him, when the Mouse begged:

“Please forgive me, mighty Lion.
Someday, I may help you.”

The Lion laughed and said:

“You? Help me?”

Still, he felt pity and let the Mouse go.

A few days later, the Lion was caught in a hunter’s net.
He roared loudly but could not escape.

Hearing the roar, the Mouse ran to him and began gnawing the ropes with his tiny teeth until the Lion was free.

The Lion looked at the Mouse in amazement and said:

“I never thought someone so small could save my life.”

The Mouse replied:

“No one is too small to make a difference.”

Moral

Kindness is never wasted.
Even the smallest friend can become the greatest help.
