الوقت المناسب هو اللي اصنعة

كان سامي يجلس في نفس المقهى منذ ثلاث سنوات.
المكان الذي شهد انكساراته الأولى، وأحلامه التي لم تكتمل، وقراراته المؤجلة.
كل شيء فيه كان يبدو كما هو… إلا سامي نفسه.

في ذلك الصباح، وصلته رسالة قصيرة من صديق قديم يقول فيها:
“إذا ما تغيّرت الآن… متى؟”

لم تكن الرسالة غريبة، لكن وقعها هذه المرة كان مختلفًا.
ربما لأن سامي شعر أن الحياة لم تعد تنتظر أحدًا.

جلس يتأمل كوب القهوة، وتذكّر كل الطرق التي خاف أن يسلكها،
وكل الفرص التي تركها تهرب لأنه كان ينتظر “الوقت المناسب”.

ابتسم وهو يهمس في نفسه:
“يمكن الوقت المناسب هو اللي أنا أصنعه… مو اللي أنتظره.”

نهض من الكرسي، وضع الحساب على الطاولة،
ومشى خارجًا بخطوات ثابتة…
ليس لأنه عرف الطريق كاملًا،
بل لأنه أخيرًا اختار أن يبدأ.

عندما أغلق باب المقهى خلفه، شعر بأن جزءًا ثقيلاً سقط من قلبه.
ولأول مرة منذ سنوات، شعر أن الحياة ما زالت قادرة أن تُدهشه…
إذا هو فقط تحرّك باتجاهها.

Sami had been sitting in the same café for three years.
The place that had witnessed his first heartbreaks, his unfinished dreams, and all the decisions he kept postponing.
Everything there looked exactly the same… except Sami himself.

That morning, he received a short message from an old friend:
“If you don’t change now… then when?”

The message itself wasn’t unusual, but this time it hit differently.
Maybe because Sami finally felt that life no longer waits for anyone.

He stared at his cup of coffee and remembered all the paths he was too afraid to take,
and all the chances he let slip away because he was waiting for “the right time.”

He smiled to himself and whispered:
“Maybe the right time is the one I create… not the one I keep waiting for.”

He stood up from his chair, left the money on the table,
and walked out with steady steps…
Not because he suddenly knew the whole road,
but because he finally chose to start.

When he closed the café door behind him, he felt a heavy weight fall from his heart.
And for the first time in years, he felt that life could still surprise him…
if he would just move towards it.
