قصة الثعلب الذي يهدد بقطع الشجرة بذيله ??

في يومٍ من الأيام، كان هناك ثعلب ماكر يجول في الغابة باحثاً عن شيء يأكله، وبينما كان يتجول، رأى عصفوراً صغيراً يقف على غصن شجرة عالية ويغرد بسعادة.

فكّر الثعلب في كيفية الإمساك بالعصفور ليكون وجبته اللذيذة، فخطر له أن يستخدم مكره. وقف الثعلب تحت الشجرة ونادى على العصفور قائلاً:
"يا عصفور، انزل حالاً! وإلا سأقطع هذه الشجرة الكبيرة بذَيلي القوي."

ضحك العصفور في نفسه من تهديد الثعلب، لكنه تظاهر بالخوف وقال له:
"أوه! حقاً يا سيدي الثعلب؟ وهل يمكن لذيلك الضعيف أن يقطع هذه الشجرة العظيمة؟"

رفع الثعلب رأسه بغرور وقال بكل ثقة:
"نعم، ذيلي قوي جداً! وإن لم تنزل إليّ حالاً، سأهزّه بقوة لأقطع الشجرة من الجذور!"

ظلّ العصفور يراقب الثعلب من أعلى الشجرة، وقرّر أن يتسلى قليلاً بخداعه، فقال له:
"حسناً يا سيدي الثعلب، ولكن أعطني فرصة لأودّع أصدقائي في الأعالي، وسأنزل إليك في الحال."

انتظر الثعلب تحت الشجرة لوقتٍ طويل، وذيله يهتز بانتظار لحظة "قطع الشجرة"، لكنه في النهاية أدرك أن العصفور لن ينزل أبداً، وأن تهديده كان بلا جدوى.

الحكمة من القصة:
تعلّمنا هذه القصة أن المكر والكذب قد يُعطيان صاحبهما شعوراً زائفاً بالقوة، لكنه في النهاية لا يخدع إلا نفسه.
فالثعلب ظن أن تهديداته ستخيف العصفور، لكن العصفور كان أذكى منه، ولم يصدق ادعاءاته الفارغة.

Once upon a time, there was a cunning fox wandering through the forest, looking for something to eat.
As he walked, he saw a little bird standing on a high tree branch, singing happily.

The fox began thinking of a way to catch the bird and make it his delicious meal, so he decided to use his trickery.
He stood under the tree and called out to the bird:
“Hey bird, come down at once! Otherwise, I will cut down this big tree with my strong tail!”

The bird laughed to himself at the fox’s threat, but he pretended to be afraid and said:
“Oh really, Mr. Fox? Do you truly think your weak tail can cut down this mighty tree?”

The fox lifted his head proudly and replied with full confidence:
“Yes, my tail is very strong! And if you don’t come down to me right now, I will shake it so hard that I’ll cut the tree from its roots!”

The bird kept watching the fox from the top of the tree and decided to have a little fun with him.
He said:
“Alright, Mr. Fox. But give me a chance to say goodbye to my friends up here, and I’ll come down to you right away.”

The fox waited under the tree for a long time, his tail twitching, expecting the great moment when he would “cut the tree”…
But in the end, he realized that the bird would never come down, and that his threat was completely useless.

Moral of the story:
This story teaches us that deceit and lies may give a person a false sense of power,
but in the end, he only fools himself.

The fox thought his threats would frighten the bird,
but the bird was wiser than him and never believed his empty claims.
